Keeley Hawes

Keeley Hawes is an English actress and former model. She stars in film version of The Last September and has voiced roles in video games, such as Lara Croft in several of the Tomb Raider games. She is also known for her roles as Kitty Butler in Tipping the Velvet, Zoe Reynolds in Spooks , Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes , and Lady Agnes in the 201012 remake of Upstairs, Downstairs. She stars in the second and third series of the BBC Two police procedural television series Line of Duty as Detective Inspector Lindsay Denton.

Hawes was born in Marylebone, London, the daughter of a cab driver. She was trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, which included ten years of elocution lessons. She left home at ageand worked in a casino until she was spotted by a modelling scout on Oxford Street and signed up by Select.
